Experience shows that proofing is not an isolated discipline but interacts with a variety of applications and tasks. The variety of application areas for Colorproof XF is illustrated in the following example.

A company is planning a trade fair appearance and a marketing campaign. To create an appealing presentation of its ideas, the agency produces various printouts on an inkjet printer and creates a striking impression with its outstanding quality, including for its spot colours. For fine-tuning, content proofs are output fast and cost-effectively on a xerographic device and a short 4-page run is printed digitally. The Fiery Option ensures colour quality and consistency. For advertising in trade magazines and in the 8-page production run, binding contract proofs are output on the inkjet printer. A large-format printer is used for printing posters and graphics for the trade fair booth in order to produce motifs in true colour on vinyl. Production Option functions (e.g. tiling and nesting) enable fast and effective processing. After the trade fair, photos from the booth are produced as posters. With the RGB workflow, full use is made of the inkjet printer’s colour space, resulting in brilliant and vibrant colours. To check the photos in the customer magazine, which is printed using offset technology, a screened proof of the images is created. As a prime solution, Colorproof XF ensures top results in all areas.
